If you plan on selling your home this fall, I have some advice to help you get the process started. Here’s what you need to know.

If you’re thinking about selling your home anytime soon, the first thing I recommend is to analyze the market as a whole. Is it the right time to sell your home based on current conditions?

We’re coming into the fall selling season, which can be completely different than the spring selling season. It’s important to take a look at the market as a whole before you decide if it’s the right time to sell.

If it is the right time to sell, I recommend that you do some maintenance around the home and maybe have an inspection done. Get your HVAC serviced after running all summer to make sure the unit is working properly.

It’s important to take a look at the market as a whole beforehand.
You’ll also want to get your chimney inspected, especially if you have a wood-burning fireplace.

Now that we’re into the fall season, a lot of homeowners like to decorate for the holidays. You want to make sure that you do some tasteful decorating for the fall, but don’t go overboard with gory Halloween decorations or jump scares.

Another thing I recommend is taking a look at the exterior of your home and cleaning it up. Rake those leaves, clear those sidewalks, and pull some weeds. Your bushes should be trimmed nice and neat as well. Finally, make sure all of your lights are on for every showing.

If you have any questions for me in the meantime about selling your home in the fall or anything else related to real estate, don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
